  該書以認知語用理論為框架,探討反諷理解的認識規(guī)律和認知過程,揭示其認知語用特征,通過其認知語用特征透視其本質。書中全面評述了迄今為止所作的研究,重點評述了反諷回聲提述論和偽裝論,主張反諷的認知標準應與一般語用原則、外在語用特征及語用策略區(qū)分開來,提出:反諷理解是一個多維互動性的推理衍生過程,互通性或共知是反諷理解的認知先決條件。尤其是該書是用英文撰寫,對于理解英文反諷語言有幫助。

作者簡介

  曾衍桃,1964年11月出生,男,漢族,祖籍江西吉安遂川。教授、博士,倫敦大學博士后?,F(xiàn)任廣東商學院學術委員會委員、碩士研究生導師、外事處副處長,兼任中國語用學會理事、廣東外語外貿(mào)大學外國語言學及應用語言學研究中心特約研究員和商務英語學院碩士研究生導師、Journal of Pragmatics和《現(xiàn)代外語》特邀評審員。 1985年畢業(yè)于江西大學(現(xiàn)南昌大學)英語語言文學專業(yè),獲得學士學位;1991年畢業(yè)于杭州大學(現(xiàn)浙江大學)英語語言文學專業(yè),獲是碩士學位;1998年畢業(yè)于廣東外語外貿(mào)大學語言學及應用語言學專業(yè),獲得博士學位;2002-2003年,在英國倫敦大學留學兼博士后研究。 他對當代語用學,尤其是對認知語用學和語用修辭進行了較為深入的研究,先后在《外語教學與研究》等刊物發(fā)表系列學術論文30余篇,出版專著1部、參編3部、譯著1部。代表性論文有《短路會話隱含》等。主持或合作參與廣東省人文社科研究項目“廣東社會語用問題研究”等省部級項目6項,獨立承擔教育部留學基金委資助項目和廣東省“千百十”工程研究項目各1項,主持校級研究項目2項。2004年被確定為廣東省“千百十”工程培養(yǎng)對象。獲得教學優(yōu)秀獎、優(yōu)秀教師、光華全項獎等榮譽或稱號。
