This book presents a brief introduction to the processing of advanced ceramics. There are four chapters in this book: Advanced Ceramics and their Applications, Powder Processing, Shape-forming, and Sintering. It introduces some new methods in ceramic powder synthesis, shape-forming and sintering of ceramics. This book also especially provides some processing detail related to the production of alumina, silicon carbide, silicon nitride and boron carbide ceramics with combination of author's experience. This book can be used as a text book and a reference book for the students who are studying the inorganic non-metal materials science and engineering, and for engineers and researchers who are working in the field of advanced ceramics.
