得德爭寄報甚多，一一讀之。

上課。

夜，與印度盤地亞君閑談。

忽思著一書，曰《中國社會風(fēng)俗真詮》（ In Defense of the Chinese Social Institutions ），取外人所著論中國風(fēng)俗制度之書一一評論其言之得失，此亦為祖國辯護(hù)之事。

書中分篇目，大約如次：

一、緒論

二、祖先崇拜（Ancestral Worship）

三、家庭制度（Family System）

四、婚姻（Marriage）

五、守舊主義（Conservatism）

六、婦女之地位（Position of Woman）

七、社會倫理（Social Ethics）

十、新中國（The New China）
