四七、譯《詩(shī)經(jīng)·木瓜》詩(shī)一章

偶思及《木瓜》之詩(shī)，檢英人C. Francis Romilly Allen所譯觀之，殊未愜心，因譯之如下：

投我以木祧，報(bào)之以瓊瑤；

匪報(bào)也，永以為好也。

Peaches were the gifts which to me you made,

And I gave you back a piece of jade—

Not to compensate

Your kindnesses, my friend,

But to celebrate

Our friendship which shall never end.
